Job Description

Job Summary

The primary emphasis of the warehouse staff will be the Central Stores Warehouse. This includes shipping, receiving, inventory control, cleaning and maintenance, and providing transportation needs for the campus as directed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, stage, and distribute parts and supplies, in accordance with all Seminary and Office of Business Services policies and guidelines.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and distribution duties; including the orderly arrangement of items in the Central Stores Warehouse and the processing of paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Provide courier service for the entire campus, including the drop-off and pick-up of items from off-campus vendors.
  • Pick-up items from campus offices for overnight shipping and bring shipping paperwork to Purchasing Office.
  • Help keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Ensure that all Receiving Paperwork is processed and handled properly.
  • Maintain Receiving area and organize packages for timely delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibility.

Specific Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Experience.
  • Successful completion of background check, MVR, and credit check may be required.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Exhibit exemplary social skills and ensure considerate interactions with all members and guests.
  • Exhibit a humble, patient, and collaborative spirit to create a healthy and vibrant work culture for the staff team.
  • Must enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people from all backgrounds and age groups.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and be a team player.
