Department Summary

The Center for Learning Experimentation, Application, and Research (CLEAR) was initially established in 1998 as a service to assist faculty with the development and delivery of distributed learning at UNT. Since that time, CLEAR has expanded services to support all types of instruction at UNT. The Center combines technology resources with expert consultation and personnel in course design/redesign, assessment, pedagogy and many other topics in an effort to provide faculty with "one-stop" support for creating quality courses - regardless of the instructional delivery method.

Position Overview

This part-time position will assist the CLEAR Studio Manager with all aspects of audio and video production and related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in audio and video production and familiarity with video editing software.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of, and the ability to operate, audio and video equipment. Familiarity with lighting and video editing fundamentals. Able to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in related field and 1 year video production experience.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

 

Job Duties:

• Assist with audio recordings and photo/video shoots. 
• Set up, operate, and maintain AV media and equipment. 
• Assist with post-production editing. 
• Assist with cataloging of projects and original media. 
• Assist with story boarding and script pre-production work. 
• Other related duties as assigned. 

Work Schedule:

Part-time temporary position up to 19 hours per week in office.
