We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Privacy Compliance Analyst to support the US Privacy Office (USPO). This role involves day-to-day operation of the Privacy Event Management and Response program from initial intake to closure including logging the incident, gathering details, performing research and analysis to make event determination, notifying the impacted Risk Owners, generating reports, , staying up to date on state and federal privacy regulations, assessing their impact on the organization, and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance, while also providing training and guidance to employees.
The US Privacy Office is responsible for the development, management, and oversight of the US Privacy Compliance Program. We work closely with Risk Owners and Oversight Functions to drive a culture of compliance with privacy related laws, rules, and regulations. The US Privacy Office leads and coordinates privacy related oversight by supporting and maintaining:
- Privacy Notices and Policies
- Privacy Event Management
- Regulatory Change Engagement
- Monitoring
- Training and Awareness
- Issue Management and Reporting
The Senior Privacy Analyst handles incident management, complaints and reporting for Privacy and specialty projects. This role will be involved in all aspects of the Privacy Event Management program, interacting with partners in Risk and Enterprise Protect to mitigate the impact of an event. The role will support the HIPAA Data Breach process and respective reporting and escalation. In addition, this role will track trends and recurring issues, recommending enhancements to our Privacy Complaints Program.
