Real Chemistry is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst join our growing team!  

Position Summary

Real Chemistry is looking for a resourceful, energetic individual to join our growing business intelligence team. We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to help drive the technical vision and build and manage data-driven business intelligence products that enable streamlined decision-making for our clients. As a part of the Business Intelligence team, you will partner closely with our Client Success, Data Engineering, Analytics, and User experience teams to build intuitive and well-designed dashboards and automated reporting solutions.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you’ll do:

Data Discovery and Data Modeling

  • Conduct thorough data discovery, understand and document data sources, adhering to data quality and data governance policies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Real Chemistry to understand business requirements and translate them into data models that effectively capture data and enable measurement.

  • Design and implement data models using Databricks Delta Lake, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and scalability.

  • Document data models and data governance processes to maintain knowledge transfer and ensure data quality standards.

Data Engineering and Transformation

  • Understand key data engineering concepts and partner with data engineers to develop and implement data pipelines using Databricks

  • Collect, process, and transform data from various sources.

  • Automate and streamline ELT processes, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Implement data quality checks and data cleansing techniques to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data.

Data Visualization and Insights

  • Develop and maintain client and internal facing data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI and Databricks Dashboards/Genie

  • Create interactive dashboards that provide business users with self-service access to data insights.

  • Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear and actionable recommendations.

What you should have:  

  • 2+ years in a data analyst, data analytics or business intelligence role

  • 2+ years of SQL and/or Python experience, specifically to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data.

  • 2+ Expe
