Position Purpose

Under frequent supervision, supports the company’s Form Design and Development efforts in order to effectively support our various insurance products.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the collaboration along with Forms Development Specialists with internal Underwriters, Risk Services, Operational support staff, and IT Developers in order to evaluate and properly scope requests for new or enhanced forms and form sets.

• Utilize forms development software to design and develop various forms as requested.

• Utilize RLI Underwriting applications to generate test XML Output in order to capture the various fields and conditions that must be referenced in the supporting form rules.

• In accordance with RLI Standards, utilize XSLT coding and our internal Document Production Framework (DPF) to develop the necessary form rules.

• Assist with detailed functional testing of form rules and related output prior to release for user acceptance testing.

• Provide entry level support for existing forms and related rules as requested.

Education & Experience

• Typically requires an associate's degree in a related field

• 0+ years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies

• Ability to use analytical methods to find creative yet workable solutions.

• Ability to generate innovative solutions within the forms development functions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal contacts on forms development matters.

• Ability to use document and systems processing software to create and update forms.

Compensation Overview

The base salary range for the position is listed below. Please note that the base salary is only one component of our robust total rewards package at RLI. The salary offered will take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications/credentials, talent availability & specialization, as well as business needs. The below range may be modified in the future.

Base Pay Range

$42,230.00 - $59,228.00
