Brown & Brown is seeking a Reinsurance Coordinator to join our growing team in Bloomington, MN. 

 

The Reinsurance Coordinator will collaborate with dealerships, external reinsurance account managers, and banks to establish new accounts and maintain existing relationships, ensuring accurate and timely account setup and reporting. This role involves reconciling premium deposits, providing requested information to auditors and agents, and maintaining detailed records while fostering relationships across teams and upholding confidentiality standards. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Work closely with our dealerships, external reinsurance account managers and banks to establish new accounts and maintain existing reinsurance companies 

  • Follow through on opening new reinsurance accounts as the process progresses  

  • Creates, maintains, and distributes monthly reporting to account managers and Client Relations Managers 

  • Reconcile premium deposits with internal system and external client bank deposits  

  • Work closely with the auditors, dealer principals, account managers and internal agents to provide requested information for reinsurance companies 

  • Provide timely responses to agencies requesting product rate information and proper documentation to register new dealerships  

  • Audit in coming dealer set up documentation for complete and accurate information before sending to system support personnel  

  • Provide quick and courteous responses to all customer inquiries 

  • Maintain detailed records and activities in agency’s data management systems 

  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality 

  

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • Insurance experience and knowledge desired  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  

  • Ability to read and understand Automotive Service Contracts 

Pay Range

25.00 - 29.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
