We are hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team!

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory, timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating logistics, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity and service levels.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

Leadership:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service) to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.

 

 

Operations: 

• Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels to meet operational demands.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Prepare and maintain reports on productivity, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks.
• Ability to add and subtract units of measurement, using whole numbers.
• Knowledge of warehouse technology including the use of RF guns and warehouse inventory software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Exercises safety in all aspects of carrying out job responsibilities.
• Use of personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed or composite shoes) as required for the assigned work area.

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.

• Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements. 
• Occasionally, may be required to lift items greater than 75 lbs with assistance.
