Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Memphis features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/ Surge and Telemetry.

 

RN Charge Nurse Med Surge FT Nights Position Summary

We are seeking a strong nurse leader for a management opportunity on a busy, 42-bed unit. 

This inpatient unit serves patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, including: A&D, GI, renal, pulmonary, ortho, hospice, and oncology. It also houses 10 beds which are dedicated to our Acute Care for Elders (ACE) program. 

 

RN Charge Nurse Med Surge FT Nights Candidate Will Possess the Following Education and License or Certifications

Education: BSN from Accredited Nursing Program. 

Experience: Two (2) years management/supervisory experience in an inpatient setting. 

Licensure/Certification(s): Current RN license to practice in the state of TN.? BLS.? ACLS within 90 days of hire.? CPI to be obtained during hospital orientation.
