IT Administrative Assistant

Location: NYC

Salary: $50k-$55k

Position Summary: The IT Administration Assistant will support the IT department by performing various administrative tasks, such as account creation and deletion, related and unrelated to onboarding and offboarding, provisioning of basic IT equipment, and Inventory management on the fresh service platform. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of IT operations and supporting the IT team in delivering efficient and effective technology services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provisioning accounts for on and offboarding employees.
• Provision accounts for role changes.
• Provision accounts in AD, Google, Adobe, Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox, etc.
• Assist in the procurement process for IT equipment, software licenses, and supplies with proper approval process.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences for the IT team.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software.
• Take meeting notes and share them with the team.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Liaise between the IT team and external vendors.
• Additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Some college credits or more preferred
• 1+ years of relevant technical experience preferred.
• 2+ years experience working in an office environment

Skills:

• Proficiency with  Microsoft Office, Google Workspace Suite.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers, faxes, and copiers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and pay close attention to detail

• Curiosity and motivation to learn new skills

• Capacity to lift up to 50lbs
