SMB Sales ManagerWhat does a successful SMB Sales Manager do at Fiserv?
As a Sales Manager at Fiserv, you'll lead a team dedicated to achieving predictable and profitable sales targets for the SMB market. What you will do:
- Execute the sales plan while managing and proactively driving the creation of sales pipeline.
- Ensure team goals and sales targets are met.
- Execute sales strategies and tactics to increase new merchant sales and add-on revenue.
- Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor sales staff while assessing sales performance and executing action plans to improve performance.
- Actively manage sales staff in all phases of the sales life cycle, including new lead generation, nurturing sales opportunities, closing business, and activating new merchants.
- Provide guidance and eliminate obstacles in high-value opportunities.
- Produce key management reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and sales productivity.
- Ensure salesforce.com usage and data accuracy.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- 2+ years of management experience within finance, payments, sales or a similar field.
- 4+ years of sales experience.
What would be great to have:
- 1+ years of experience developing a plan to effectively build pipeline and generate top-line revenue growth.
- 2+ years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment for small to medium-sized clients.
- Proven track record of coaching and training teams on optimizing margins and profitability for RFPs and deal presentations.
