About the Opportunity:

JOB PURPOSE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Remove weldments from the paint line conveyor, inspect for quality, remove plugs/masking and place on cart/pallet/rack
• Remove hooks from weldments and re-hang on hook rack by size
• Document and process reorders when needed
• Wrap and box parts
• Complete order sheets
• Operate hoist
• Track and publish paint defect logs
• Complete paint stripping process by loading truck and filling out the tracker

• Pulling units from Black Inventory into paint stage
• Properly hang configurations of weldments onto paint line per hang patterns.
• Inspect parts for quality (missing or inadequate welds, weld spatter, etc.)
• Remove dirty hooks for reconditioning as needed
• Perform Oracle transactions
• Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents or injuries to supervisor
• Perform daily start-up/shutdown of washer and oven
• Ability to perform all three load stage positions (pulling units and hanging)

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak and understand)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions
• High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
• Push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
• Operate hoist, sander and grinder

Your base wage will be between $21.25 - $26.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
