As Director, Global Markets Funding Desk (GMFD), you will be the salesperson responsible for sourcing funding opportunities that support GM. This desk will be responsible on behalf of all GMs for bringing in alternative sources of funding, coordinating and working with Treasury to implement limits and constraints and working with the businesses and clients to improve self-financing opportunities. You will be a thought leader and expert in financing products and alternative funding products, markets and opportunities. As an active leader of the decision-making process, you will work with Global Markets Asset Financing (GMAF) businesses, Clients, Sales/Distribution, Risk, Treasury and other Stakeholders in the development of alternative funding strategies and trade opportunities.  You will be part of a global team of dynamic, hardworking, production focused team players based in Toronto, NY, and London.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary of USD$200,000 in the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
