The Opportunity

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on the Production and Analysis team in MassMutual Ascend’s ALM and Capital group, you will help to produce and analyze results relating to Cash Flow Testing and various Asset Liability Management processes. You will collaborate with team members to enhance analytic capabilities to facilitate further understanding of key drivers and anticipate future movements in results. You will assist members within the group in refining modeling efforts and streamlining processes that help hone various analytical tools.

Job Responsibilities

• In a team setting, analyze CFT and ALM results from our FIS Prophet modeling software
• Create and refine analytical tools that focus on drivers of key metrics
• Develop understanding of internal and external factors impacting various products
• Make model improvements focused on furthering analytical capabilities
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or working toward ASA
• At least 2 years actuarial work experience in annuities
• Experience with actuarial modeling platforms, with preference toward FIS Prophet
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Results oriented: Ability to complete tasks on schedule
