The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious, and highly collaborative Mid-Level Program Management Specialist to support the Italy KC-767A Tanker Program in Hazelwood, MO. or Berkeley, MO.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility international program supporting mission-critical tanker aircraft. Reporting to the Israel, Nordics, and Italy Tanker Senior Manager, you will partner with the Italy KC-767A Tanker Program Manager to drive execution of a comprehensive Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) program while leading and overseeing major mid-life upgrade initiatives that directly impact fleet capability, performance, and mission-readiness.
In this role, you will operate at the center of a dynamic, cross-functional, and global environment, balancing program execution, program growth, financial performance, and technical integration. The ideal candidate brings strong technology orientation, digital literacy, financial acumen, and critical thinking, with the ability to leverage modern tools, systems, and analytics to improve program outcomes. You will play a key role in building strong relationships across a diverse, international stakeholder base, while proactively managing risks, resolving issues, and capturing opportunities to enhance program performance. Position Responsibilities:
- Support execution of program plans to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives
- Coordinate and maintain integrated master plans and schedules using digital planning tools
- Implement and leverage data and analytics to monitor program performance (trend, variance, impact) and drive timely decisions
- Support program financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and estimate-at-complete (EAC) activities
- Lead risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) management, including integration of data-driven insights
- Aid in the development and utilization of digital tools and dashboards to enhance visibility, reporting, and decision-making
- Partner with engineering and digital teams to align program execution with emerging system capabilities, data environments, and toolsets
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through collaboration, automation, digital integration, and tool optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including international customers and cross-functional partners
- Apply critical thinking to assess complex program challenges and drive effective, timely solutions
- Collaborate across engineering, supply chain, contracts, and finance teams to deliver integrated outcomes
- Support program operating rhythm, including metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
- Contribute to program reviews, customer engagements, industry conferences, and leadership communications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional or matrixed environment
- 3+ years of experience with program planning, scheduling, and performance tracking
- 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, cost management, or forecasting in a program or project environment
- 3+ years of experience managing risks, issues, and opportunities
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Experience using data analysis tools (e.g., AI, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Demonstrated digital literacy and ability to leverage tools, systems, and data to drive program outcomes
- Ability to interpret technical and financial information
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, Project Management, Engineering, or related field)
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or government programs
- Experience with Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) programs
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience supporting Estimate at Completion (EAC) or forecasting processes
- Experience supporting modification, upgrade, or modernization programs (e.g., mid-life upgrades)
- Experience supporting tanker or military aircraft programs (e.g., KC-767, KC-46)
- Experience in product support, sustainment, or lifecycle support environments <
