Your Title: Compliance Associate

Your Location: Remote (ideally AZ or MA)

You Report To: Compliance Director

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm EST

Compensation: $40,000+ bonus! ­­

About the Opportunity:

First Help Financial, recently voted “Great Place to Work”, is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Associate that ideally resides in Arizona or Massachusetts to work remote. This is an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join a growing company and compliance team. When you join our team at FHF you’ll do important work, you will be responsible for regulatory matters to include policy/procedures, audits, licensing, and compliance trainings for internal staff. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Director of Compliance in daily oversight of the compliance program through effective and timely completion of tasks
• Maintaining, enforcing and testing the company’s policies
• Synthesize large amounts of transactional information from various systems to identify potential regulatory violations
• Investigate potential regulatory violations and thoroughly document conclusions
• Effectively communicate conclusions through written and verbal communication while maintaining a consistent, methodical approach in a highly regulated environment
• Effective administration of the Compliance Training Program
• Proactively support the Compliance function in responding to internal and external audit requests
• Provide ad hoc support to Director of Compliance as needed for discharging the tasks and responsibilities of the Compliance function

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated analytical and research skills using investigative techniques including transaction analysis, evidence gathering, and pattern recognition
• Previous experience in consumer lending required; previous experience with audit and serving and collections activities preferred
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Tremendous attention to detail, comfortable working with tight deadlines and fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, works well both independently and in collaboration with other staff, vendors, and regulatory contacts as needed
• Proficiency in Excel required
