The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Data Intelligence Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Maintaining license records in 3M and Solventum SAP systems to enable sales and ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Resolving order blocks that delay servicing customers and recognizing revenue
  • Designing, developing, testing, and publishing ad hoc reports on Power BI and providing analysis using data visualization tools
  • Analyzing and extracting large data sets using SQL or scripting languages (Python/R) to identify trends
  • Writing queries, creating data architectures, and preparing data on Snowflake/Teradata for reporting tool ingestion

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or Finance from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of work experience in data science, business analytics, or comparable data intelligence field
  • Three (3) years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • One(1) year experience with Global trade systems.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics
  • Five (5) years of experience in a data engineer or Business Intelligence role
  • Experience conducting large-scale and complex data analysis to support business decision-making
  • Three (3) years of experience in data mining and data set preparation using scripting languages
  • Proficient understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and Azure machine learning models
Work location: Hybrid
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
