The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Global Transfer Pricing Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Overseeing all aspects of Solventum’s Transfer Pricing function by teaming with external service providers, including but not limited to:
Implementing the operational side of Transfer Pricing such as setting targets, calculating prices, and monitoring results;
Managing Transfer Pricing documentation including intercompany agreements and annual compliance reporting;
Representing the Company in audits and other transfer pricing matters with tax authorities, financial statement auditors, and external tax and legal consultants; and
Serving as the primary internal Transfer Pricing resource, including for Tax provision, reserve analysis, supply-chain matters, and working with broad cross-functional teams that impact or are impacted by transfer pricing.
Analyzing US and foreign legislation and OECD initiatives to determine the impact on the Company’s global transfer pricing position and developing strategies to comply while mitigating disruption to the business.
Providing thought leadership for new ideas and new ways of executing the Transfer Pricing function, including teaming with other professionals to design and implement best practices, making presentations and recommendations to executives on strategic planning and savings initiatives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher; and Ten (10) years of Transfer Pricing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
OR
High School Diploma/GED from AND 14 years of Transfer Pricing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Transfer Pricing experience in a large, global company with a complex supply chain across multiple countries and regions, either internally or as an advisor.
Strong technical understanding of U.S., foreign, and multi-jurisdictional transfer pricing laws, regulations, and publications.
An in-depth understanding of the global impact of Transfer Pricing including to business and financial reporting.
Strong experience in tools such as MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint and MS-Teams to create and share analytics which facilitate decision-making. Experience with SAP, Oracle, Alteryx, or other programs is also a plus.
Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience of internal or external talent.
Strong sense of initiative—a self-starter, who can work independently to perform key job functions. The person who fills this role will have a great deal of responsibility for
