Position Summary

This position is the Senior Field Product Manager role within the Field Engagement Platforms team. Role will be responsible for shaping, delivering & supporting Veeva Commercial cloud capabilities & strategic roadmaps for Commercialization global field forces (i.e., Sales, Medical & Access) in partnership with matrix teams in IT and business functional teams across US and International Markets (as required). The individual would hold a strong hands-on experience to manage depth of the Field platforms across the commercialization enterprise capabilities covering the CRM ecosystem. Functional areas include CRM and Alignment functional domains across matrix functional teams. This position will be responsible to set the Products within the Field Engagement Platform strategy & execution, including define the platforms' digital solution roadmap, Co-manage the enhancement backlog and ensure overall execution of roadmap, translate features and business requirements to create technical backlog, evaluating backlog against other IT and Platform priorities. Key Responsibilities

  • The primary IT lead responsible to deliver Field engagement platforms with partnership  Worldwide Commercialization Excellence and S&O/SFE Market organizations to analyze & validate published requirements to deliver technical solutions.
  • Set the Products within the Field Engagement Platform strategy & execution, including define the platforms' digital solution roadmap, Co-manage the enhancement backlog and ensure overall execution of roadmap, Translate features and business requirements to create technical backlog, evaluating backlog against other IT and Platform priorities.
  • Define technical standards and KPIs, Measure progress toward OKRs, Ensure Platform features meet standards (security, privacy and compliance) and Manage “health” and technical quality of Platform
  • Manage engineering resources to deliver on committed timelines
  • Responsible for the development of long-term (24-36 month) roadmaps identifying digital capabilities that have the greatest impact on sales, marketing and access business capabilities worldwide.  Develops comprehensive business case(s) to support business outcomes of new/upgraded digital capabilities.   
  • Responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of digital capabilities for those organizations.  The strategic planning will include focus on the enablement and speed, simplification, and improved outcomes.
  • Lead the overall product strategy and roadmap for field architecture including business and technical architecture across vendor solutions and platforms
  • Design & develop cost effective solutions that meet functional, technical, security and performance requirements which also adhere to platform design standards & release management process
  • Lead, plan & deliver new and/or existing strategic platform capabilities that create tangible business value and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify high value differentiating capabilities when making digital capability platform choices.
  • Act as the Field expert for system processes and workflows. Participate in analysis and provide input and recommendations for meeting business requirements. 
  • Partner with Veeva to define additional Veeva opportunities at BMS and drive those opportunities to the platform, further enabling the Enterprise Veeva Capability Platform model. 
  • Collaborate and Partner with local, regional and global colleagues to drive the adoption and enablement of digital capabilities by effective business process design, change
