Junior Accounts Payable Assistant

The Junior Accounts Payable Assistant ensures the smooth operation of the accounts payable function by assisting with invoice matching, data entry and responding to vendor queries, completing vendor reconciliations, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy within the Accounts Payable operation. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. You will also need strong admin experience in a fast paced environment.</span></p> <p><span> </span><span><strong>Location</strong>: Dublin, hybrid remote working</span></p> <p><strong>Hours: </strong>Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>How you will contribute</strong></p> <ul> <li>Invoice processing - scanning and posting</li> <li>Maintaining creditors ledgers (vendor accounts reconciliations; ageing and debit balances)</li> <li>Dealing with vendor queries </li> <li>Team collaboration</li> <li>Ad Hoc admin tasks</li> <li>Vendor queries and managing inboxes</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you will bring</strong></p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Recently graduated students or past experience in a finance related role are preferred but not essential </li> <li>Good verbal and written communication skills in English, knowing a second European language would be beneficial.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlook ups, pivot tables) and other Office applications </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>EXPERIENCE </p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in Accounts Payable or in Finance Shared Services preferred but not essential as training will be provided.</li> <li>Experience with SAP or Oracle as a plus. </li> <li>Dutch Speaking would be a benefit</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p><strong>DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
