About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help define the future of AI-powered automation at Workato. This is a high-impact role spanning Workato’s AI product portfolio, where you’ll shape how users build workflows, interact with AI agents, and unlock new automation capabilities. The core challenge is translating sophisticated AI functionality into experiences that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and empowering for enterprise users.

In this role you’ll be:

• Leading design initiatives across AI-assisted workflow creation and automation experiences

• Designing intuitive builder experiences for AI agents and AI-powered tools

• Exploring and defining new AI-driven capabilities that solve real enterprise business problems

• Partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape product strategy and execution

• Driving UX vision while also refining detailed interactions and visual polish

• Translating complex technical and AI concepts into human-centered, usable designs

• Working from early concept through delivery in ambiguous and fast-evolving problem spaces

About you:

• 7+ years of experience as a product or interaction designer, ideally within complex enterprise, data-driven, or automation platforms

• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered or intelligence-driven products

• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and shipped work

• Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, user flows, and visual design

• Proven ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering partners

• Comfortable working independently through ambiguity and rapid iteration

• Technical fluency with AI and automation systems (coding not required)

• Strong prototyping skills in Figma; experience with motion, HTML/CSS, Framer, Cursor, or AI-native tools is a plus

• Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams

• Curious, low-ego, and proactive, with a strong user- and craft-driven mindset

Compensation:

150K-200K USD
