About the role

As a member of the Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Informatics management team, the Sr. Manager, Regional Clinical  Informatics is responsible in collaboration with the Directors and Medical Informatics for collaborative implementation, support, and on-going optimization of clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy and other organizational commitments.  As a partner for clinical transformation and in collaboration with the GVPs Clinical Nursing Informatics, CI Regional Directors, ministry Nurse Executives and other clinical and physician  leaders, the Sr. Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics manages staff performance in informatics initiatives with an emphasis on information technology and services to support nursing and interdisciplinary care partners in the areas of practice, clinical applications, clinical/administrative decision-making, research and quality improvement initiatives, education, and resource management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Informatics, BA, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field.

  • 8 or more years related experience.

  • 6 or more years leadership experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing; or degree in process. Or Informatics, BA, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field.

  • Upon hire: Certification in Informatics 

  • Upon hire: Epic Certification in one or more applications 

  • Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manger’s discretion)
