Your Mission: Keep Our Facilities in Tip-Top Shape!

As our Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the superhero who keeps our buildings and grounds shining bright. From fixing leaks to sprucing up spaces, you’ll tackle maintenance tasks with skill and swagger, ensuring our properties are safe, functional, and ready to impress.

What You’ll Do: Be the Fix-It Wizard

• Safety First, Always: You’re the guardian of safety, staying on top of OSHA and DOT rules, keeping tools organized, and making sure everything’s in order.
• Maintenance Magic:
  • Carpentry: Frame walls, hang drywall, or swap out doors like a pro.
  • Painting: Add a splash of color to keep things fresh.
  • Plumbing: Fix toilets, sinks, and faucets with finesse.
  • Electrical: Swap out light fixtures, outlets, or switches to keep the lights on.
• HVAC: Replace thermostats and keep air filters squeaky clean.
• Roofing: Patch up holes or tears to save the day.
• Grounds Guru: Inspect the property daily, keep it looking sharp, and report any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Tech-Savvy Tracker: Use our UpKeep software to manage work orders like a boss.
• Team Player: Build great relationships with customers, vendors, and our Real Estate Management Team to plan and budget preventative maintenance.
• Emergency MVP: Join our Security Drive Through and Emergency On-Call Team to tackle urgent issues like fire sprinkler mishaps or snowy situations.
• Level Up: Keep growing your skills with training to become an even bigger maintenance rockstar!

What You Bring to the Table:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent (check!).
• 2-3 years of building maintenance experience—bonus points for construction trade training!
• A knack for spotting problems before they happen and handling multiple tasks like a juggling pro.
• Basic math skills for change orders, timecards, and carpentry calculations.
• A can-do attitude with a passion for top-notch customer service.
• Forklift or material handling experience? That’s a plus!
• Ability to work solo or team up with a crew to get the job done.

Physical Superpowers Needed:

• Stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, or climb ladders like a champ (at least 50% of the time).
• Lift 10-50 lbs. frequently and occasionally tackle 100+ lbs.
• Use smartphones and tech for tracking work orders and time.
• Communicate clearly with the team and customers, whether in person or on the phone.
