National Accounts Project Manager - Remote US

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a National Accounts Project Manager - Remote US. This role will report directly to the National Accounts Operation Manager and work closely with sales, service technicians, and end-users. The National Accounts Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of new installation or site modernization projects for customers that are designated as “national accounts” on-time and within budget.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage multiple (both large and small) projects while coordinating work through appropriate vendors, sub-contractors, and branch staff
• Ensure smooth transition of project from the sales team to the fulfillment team
• Make initial contact with customers and subcontractor partners and coordinate installation schedule
• Maintain documents electronically as indicated in the Project Management Process document
• Establish project plans by determining time frame, funding and staffing, and approving project schedules
• Establish and achieve financial objectives by preparing a project budget, scheduling and approving expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, ensuring availability, licenses, insurance, and quality standards are met.  Secure an executed subcontractor agreement prior to engaging any physical work
• Attend (physically or virtually) pre-construction and post-construction jobsite meetings
• Order all necessary material for the installation in the appropriate time frame by creating purchase orders, utilizing preferred vendors

 

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in ERP systems
• Travel 10%

 

 

WHAT WE PREFER

• BS Degree in technical field, construction management or business
• PMP certification
