What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager specializing in data security to support high-performance programs and streamline change management processes within the Walmart People Organization. The role involves partnering with risk experts and engineers to drive security controls assessment planning, support, and data security tool adoption, while managing cross-functional dependencies and resolving ambiguous situations to improve our security posture.

What you'll do:

Drive Security Controls Assessment: Plan and support security controls assessment initiatives, ensuring the adoption of advanced data security tools.

Manage Cross-Functional Dependencies: Secure commitments for program scopes, delivery dates, and resources while managing dependencies across various teams.

Resolve Ambiguous Situations: Address and clarify conflicting business strategies to provide clear direction for program teams and leadership.

Metric Reporting and Decision Making: Analyze metrics, create reporting dashboards, and use data to make informed decisions about prioritization and security improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Independently engage with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and ensure alignment on roles, responsibilities, and project goals.

What you'll bring:

Expertise in Program Management: Proficient in utilizing program management techniques, tools, and frameworks to define goals, critical delivery paths, and key deliverables for large-scale programs.

Strong Data Security Knowledge: Specialized in data security, with the ability to drive initiatives related to security controls assessment planning and the adoption of advanced data security tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in partnering with risk experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, roles, and responsibilities.

Problem-Solving and Ambiguity Resolution: Capable of resolving ambiguous situations with conflicting business strategies and driving clarity for program teams and leadership.

Analytical and Reporting Skills: Proficient in analyzing metrics, creating reporting dashboards, and making data-driven decisions to prioritize and improve the organization's security posture.
