At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The Position:

Testing software is great, but testing software with a purpose is even better! As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have — their health. In collaborative teams of engineers, designers, product owners, and QA experts, you’ll experience best-in-class software development practices daily and contribute to software that meets the highest expectations — we do not put our users' lives at risk!

The Opportunity:

• You  will work closely with the backend colleagues on building digital products and platforms. 

• As a code-magician, you will support our efforts to improve the digital health ecosystem. 

• You will contribute with your knowledge of automation testing and performance testing to make our processes more efficient, secure, and reliable within our agile and cross-functional teams.

• As a flexible and open-minded person with a passion for clean code you will be a perfect addition to our team. 

• We are committed to quality, dedicating time to code reviews, test coverage, quality days and CI/CD principles. 

Who you are:

• You have a University Degree

• You have at least 3 years of experience working as a Software Engineer, including 2 years as a QA Engineer

• You are experienced with JavaScript QA Automation frameworks

• You understand Cloud (preferable AWS)

• You have expertise in different types of testing ( UI, API, Performance etc)

• You are familiar with modern AI-driven QA tools and techniques

• You enjoy developing clean, stable, testable, performant and very well documented code, serving our beautiful applications

• You have excellent written and verbal communication in English
