Senior HR Generalist (Temporary) (f/m/d)

<p>Join Axpo Iberia as a Senior HR Generalist (Temporary) and make an impact by ensuring smooth HR operations during a key maternity leave coverage period. This role is your opportunity to contribute to both local and global HR initiatives while supporting employees and managers in Spain.</p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul> <li>Act as a trusted HR contact for managers in assigned departments, collaborating with the HRBP and local HR team.</li> <li>Coordinate local labor processes, ensure compliance with Spanish legislation, and adapt operational topics to Axpo Spain’s needs.</li> <li>Support regulatory updates and policy implementation, including the equality plan, anti-harassment policy, and annual learning plan.</li> <li>Assist managers in employee relations topics like disciplinary cases, performance issues, and long-term absences.</li> <li>Execute global HR processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, and culture initiatives, and define local measures.</li> <li>Manage employee onboarding, training coordination, and communications related to HR activities.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with global HR teams on projects and day-to-day activities.</li> </ul><p><strong>What you bring &amp; who you are:</strong></p><ul> <li>University degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or similar.</li> <li>At least 5 years of HR experience, ideally in multinational companies.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of HR processes and Spanish labor law, with experience working in international teams.</li> <li>Proficiency in HR systems and tools, as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.</li> <li>Native Spanish and fluent English language skills.</li> <li>Personal qualities: teamwork, assertiveness, attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive, innovative mindset.</li> </ul><p><strong>About the team:</strong><br/>You’ll join a collaborative and diverse HR team that values open communication, integrity, and continuous learning.
