With a focus on power stability, energy storage and industrial electrification solutions, Power Conversion & Storage empowers customers by addressing their most complex electrification challenges and accelerating their transition to a sustainable, decarbonized future.We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EPC Engineer to lead the end-to-end execution of electrical system installations, including eHouse integration, site installation, and civil works. This role spans from the ITO (Inquiry to Order) phase through project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, supplier coordination, and successful execution of complex power conversion projects.
Job Description
Pre-Execution (ITO Phase):
- Support the offer stage by reviewing technical requirements, contributing to bid strategies, and identifying execution risks.
- Collaborate with proposal and commercial teams to define scope, budget, and schedule for electrical installation and civil works.
- Provide technical input for supplier selection and subcontractor evaluation.
Project Execution:
- Lead EPC activities for electrical system installations, including eHouse deployment, cabling, grounding, and commissioning.
- Oversee civil works related to electrical infrastructure (e.g., foundations, trenches, cable ducts, access roads).
- Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Supplier & Subcontractor Management:
- Provide technical follow-up and oversight of the eHouse supplier, ensuring design compliance, factory acceptance, and delivery readiness.
- Manage installation and civil work subcontractors, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and project milestones.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
Technical Oversight:
- Review and validate engineering designs, installation drawings, and technical documentation.
- Interface with design teams to ensure constructability and compliance with local codes and GE standards.
- Provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning phases.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all site activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support audits and inspections as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in EPC roles within the energy or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience in eHouse installation, electrical infrastructure, and civil works.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, protection schemes, and installation standards.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GE Power Conversion products and systems.
- Familiarity with digital tools for project tracking and documentation.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Multilingual communication skills are a plus.
