About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday integrations to streamline financial data flow between Workday and other systems.
  • Manage and enhance financial reporting capabilities within Workday, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the Workday platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Workday configurations, workflows, and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to end-users.
  • Lead efforts to integrate banking systems with Workday for seamless payment processing, reconciliation, and cash management.
  • Stay informed about Workday updates, best practices, and emerging trends in accounting technology, and recommend enhancements or new features to maximize the platform's value.
  • Mentor and train team members on Workday functionality, configuration, and troubleshooting techniques to build internal expertise and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Workday certification) is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience working with Workday Financial Management, including configuration, integration, and reporting.
  • Proven track record of leading successful Workday implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects in a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, EIBs, Adaptive Planning, and other Workday tools for customization and data manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
