Responsibilities:
· Collections Management: Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to patients with past due accounts, ranging from 180 days to 30 days past due, in order to facilitate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances.
· Prioritization: Utilize your discernment and expertise to prioritize collection efforts based on the severity and age of outstanding accounts, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
· Detail-Oriented Tracking: Maintain records of collection activities, payments received, and outstanding balances, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions.
· Patient Communication: Interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner, effectively communicating payment options and addressing any concerns or inquiries related to their accounts.
· Orthodontic Collections Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of patient collections within the orthodontic field to navigate the unique challenges and nuances associated with managing and tracking collections in this specialized setting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Passion for Collections: Possess a genuine enthusiasm for the collections process, understanding its critical role in maintaining the financial stability of the practice.
· Detail-Oriented: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in tracking collections and managing financial records.
· Organizational Skills: Excel in managing tasks and priorities simultaneously, staying organized and focused amidst a fast-paced work environment.
· Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and facilitating successful collection outcomes.
· Orthodontic Experience: Have a solid understanding of orthodontic billing practices and the unique aspects of collections management within the orthodontic field.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- $18-$23 hourly
