Role Summary
The Senior Talent Management Partner - Organizational Development is a subject matter expert and consultant in organizational development and team effectiveness programs at Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, and Hawaiian Airlines.
As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to make decisions in designing and implementing tools, resources and processes that enhance team and organizational performance. In alignment with business goals, they provide recommendations to address challenges related to team dynamics, cross-functional effectiveness, and organizational agility.
Key Duties
- Act as a subject matter expert in organizational development to define, develop, maintain, implement, and execute organizational development and team effectiveness programs that are scalable and adaptable across diverse cultural and geographic contexts.
- Provide appropriate learning and tools for leaders and HR Business Partners.
- With minimal direction from leadership, exercise considerable judgment to make decisions in development and implementation of strategies that improve team performance, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals to enhance overall workforce effectiveness and support global business initiatives, and regional nuances.
- Make recommendations to address challenges related to team dynamics, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational agility, including those arising from operating in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments.
- Influence cross-functionally and partner with people team centers of excellence, HR business partners, people leaders, key stakeholders across departments, and international teams, as well as external consultants or vendors as needed.
- Lead and manage complex organizational effectiveness projects, ensuring timely delivery and positive impact on our culture of delivering high-performance.
- Analyze organizational health data to identify and make recommendations on trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
- Mentor and coach less senior team members providing guidance and support for project execution and professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in organizational effectiveness to continuously improve the organization’s approach.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
- 4 years of experience in developing, implementing and leading organizational development programs or other related human resource discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
- Strategic thinking with ability to align organizational and team effectiveness strategies to organizational goals and objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Coaching, Organizational Development or HR related certification.

Starting Rate
Salary Range
$97,200 -- $145,800 / yearTotal Target Compensation Range (incl. bonus & equity)
$104,490 - $156,735Bonus
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
