EquipmentShare is Hiring a Director of New Construction

EquipmentShare is searching for a Director of New Construction to join our Real Estate & Construction team in Chattanooga as it continues to grow.

EquipmentShare is seeking a Director of Construction to be responsible for leading the construction process as we open up new market locations across the country.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the daily workings of our finance, accounting and operations teams with regard to new market construction
• Lead a team of Construction Project Managers
• Manage compliance and provide support for EquipmentShare's facilities and site locations 
• Manage the communication with vendors, third party services, and various other EquipmentShare departments to relay pertinent information as needed 
• Manage a variety of projects, such as reports, budgets, presentations, and more
• When necessary, create budgets, prepare expense reports and other timely reporting
• Serve as an advocate and a representative of the EquipmentShare brand 
• Be able to manage deadlines on multiple projects and hold others accountable to deliver on expectations

We are looking for someone with availability to work primarily Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Skills & Qualifications 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• You’re ready to immerse yourself in all things EquipmentShare. You have the hunger to learn all you can about the inner workings of our construction technology company, and you’re a highly motivated person who can take on the challenge
• At least 5 years of commercial or industrial construction management or project management experience
• Intimate knowledge of the entire construction process from permitting through completion
• Proven track record of success on construction projects 
• Experience in providing operations and administrative support
• The personality to thrive in a fast-paced business environment
• Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities
• Self-motivated and able to complete work on deadline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak on behalf of executive leadership 
• Strong attention to detail, and comfort adhering to company policies and standards 
• Exhibit strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Fantastic phone etiquette and great listening skills
• Reliable and trustworthy individual with a “can-do” attitude
