Most of the team sits here but this role can be seated anywhere in Germany. This senior engineer role is designed to strengthen our Process Analysis and Action team.</p> <p> </p> <p>The way we work</p> <p>We keep things open, agile and communicative. It is all based on trust, not micromanaging.</p> <p>Our team members are self-organized within their teams, working on independent projects or closely with Product Leads, developers and UX designers. We value your thoughts and ideas and will give you the freedom to push and implement them!</p> <p> </p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Develop new UI components in JavaScript, predominantly with React and GraphQL</li> <li>Help to keep a large SPA maintainable and develop MFE</li> <li>Improve our technology stack</li> <li>Be end-to-end responsible for the product, from discussing features in the team with the PO to bringing and observing it in production</li> <li>Review the work of your teammates and support them</li> <li>Constantly improve our user experience by close collaboration with the product designer</li> <li>Keep a high level of quality by applying the right level of testing for new and existing components</li> <li>Ensure adherence to SAP product standards such as Accessibility </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Would be great if you have</p> <ul> <li>Very good communication skills in English (our working language)</li> <li>Deep knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript programming, preferably using React</li> <li>Good knowledge in GraphQL or willing to learn it fast</li> <li>Ability to build accessible user interfaces</li> <li>The drive to understand the needs of our customers</li> <li>Experience mentoring team-members</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>*Do I need to meet all the requirements to apply?* </p> <p><a href="https://hbr.org/2014/08/why-women-dont-apply-for-jobs-unless-theyre-100-qualified" target="_blank">Studies</a> by several different sources have shown that, on average, men will apply for a job if they meet 60% of the application requirements.
