Levy at Churchill Downs has an opportunity for a seasonal, part-time Spanish Interpreter to join our team for our Spring Racing Meet.

 

Churchill Downs is home of the Kentucky Derby. The Kentucky Derby has been described by Forbes as one of the "Greatest Bucket-list Sporting Events" in America. Every year, on the first Saturday in May, over 150,000 of guests gather under the Twin Spires at Churchill Downs to create lifelong memories with their friends and family.

 

During live racing, we operate on a Wednesday – Sunday schedule. Outside of live racing, we operate on a Monday – Friday schedule. There are some nights and weekends required during live racing, and a few nights and weekends required during the months of March & April based off of our scheduled training and onboarding sessions.

 

Our Spring Racing Meet will begin on April 27th and will include the Kentucky Oaks, the Kentucky Derby, Mother's Day, and Downs After Dark Racing Days.

 

Primary Duties Include:

 

• Assists with Daily Check-In Operations
• Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
• Coordinates with Senior Staffing Manager and local Staffing Partners to Staff Events.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Provides clerical support to the HR department.
