Responsibilities
We are hiring a Cybersecurity Governance Analyst, Onsite - Ft. Liberty, NC with responsibilities for the following:
What you'll do:
- Recommend, coordinate, monitor, and maintain information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures, and systems, including access management
- Ensure cyber security plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned and standardized with DISA cyber security guidance and best practices guide
- Provide ACAS system administration including patching and STIGing on Windows and Linux servers
- Provide vulnerability and compliance assessment reports and analysis as needed
- Conduct regular risk assessments and weekly vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to include configuration guides and standard operating procedures
- Analyze, interpret, and apply Cybersecurity guidance within supported network
- Coordinate and implement vulnerability remediation efforts
- Review policies and procedures for compliance with applicable standards and identifiy areas of improvement for finding remediation
- Identify potential risks associated with system configurations and advise on mitigation strategies
- Conduct reviews of all vulnerabilities and architecture; report findings in POA&Ms document to Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
- Maintain Cybersecurity documentation, procedures and processes as assigned
- Draft Mitigation Action Plans in support of any applicable documentation required to comply with Army Regulations
Qualifications
2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
What you'll need:
- Proven track record of protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive data
- Proven experience and ability to leverage CND analyst toolsets to detect and respond to IT security incidents
- ACAS System administration experience
- Understanding of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or other IA/CND Compliance and Auditing processes and inspections for enterprise systems and networks
- Experience required in security or network technology (Unix/Windows OS, Cisco/Juniper Routing-Switching) within a hands-on Implementation or Administration role
- Familiar with RMF
- Thorough knowledge of TCP-IP protocol implementations for all common network services in addition to demonstrated capability to perform network packet analysis and anomaly detection
- Professionally certified, within a CND discipline, as Technical Level as defined by DODI 8570 such as Security+ and CE certification
- Secret Clearance

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
