Junior Production Engineer

The Production Engineer will be in charge of:

• upload production cycles/bills in the ERP and set the proper planning parameters

• liaise with Production to respect design constraints and cost/quality standards

• study and monitor production times and methods with the aim of increasing the overall effectiveness and efficiency

• liaise with Sales, Quality and Production for supporting production according to manufacturing/supplier constraints and cost/quality standards

• prepare production orders and monitor their progresses. Report eventual delays. Recommend and implement corrective actions in strict coordination with Line Manager

• analyze inventory usage and scrap. Recommends actions to minimize loss, reduce inventory and/or increase turnover

• propose continuous improvements to internal processes and systems

• monitor external suppliers activities and efficiency.

 

Education and professional experience

• Technical diploma or bachelor in Mechanical Engineer

• 1-2 years of experience in production engineering or technical office

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Good knowledge of Autocad 

• Good knowledge of the English language

• Good knowledge of the Italian language

• Basic knowledge of drawing software
