Retail Sales Associate - Giardini Garden Store (Bellagio)

THE JOB:

As a Bellagio Retail Sales Associate at Giardini, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by personalizing recommendations on our luxurious and unique items.  Giardini, located near the Bellagio Conservatory, offers a wide array of garden-oriented gifts and decorative items for the home and garden from well-known design houses.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience, provide a comfortable shopping experience, and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY:  $17.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Interact warmly with all guests, applying our SHOW Service Basics program, to create memorable WOW Moments
• Greet and engage with guests, smiling, and hearing their stories as you offer tailored product recommendations, drive sales and complete transactions within the POS registers
• Deliver exceptional service to guests by utilizing problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and prioritizing guest safety
• Professionally market decorative items
• Ensure a clean and safe shopping environment by maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and consistently replenishing the floor from the stock room
• Own the guest’s experience and report any opportunities for improvement to Retail Management
• Follow all Retail, POS, and Cash Handling procedures
• Participate in our sales incentive program, where you’re rewarded for achieving sales goals
• Perform other job‐related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 21+ Years of age or older
• Either possess, or can obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One (1) year Retail Sales experience
• One (1) year Cash Handling experience
• Previous work experience in a similar resort setting and ability to operate a retail POS system
• Takes pride in their work, is detail oriented and can multi-task
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Able to effectively communicate in English and Spanish, in both written and verbal forms
