Dartmouth-Hitchcock HealthAbout the role
Responsibilities
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified BE/BC Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team. As a tertiary medical and cancer center, we offer a diverse range of pediatric cases, from routine pediatric ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries in children of all ages. With the recent addition of a Pediatric Neurosurgeon, we anticipate an increase in neurosurgical procedures and are to build this service line together.
Education and teaching are key components of this role, with eight anesthesia residents per year. As an affiliate of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, there are opportunities for involvement in medical education, research, and academic advancement as well as collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics and other services. Pediatric assignments will be prioritized, and although there may be an expectation to participate in a variety of adult cases Dartmouth Health is actively working to expand pediatric services available.
At Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, we prioritize creating a supportive and family-friendly environment that enhances both your professional and personal life. We believe that a positive work-life balance is key to overall well-being. By joining our team, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits that contribute to a harmonious and fulfilling lifestyle.
