Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor CVNICU - Nights

We are seeking a full-time RN Unit Supervisor for the Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU at Inova Alexandria Hospital. This is a 16-bed unit focusing on vascular and neuro patient population.  This is a night shift position – 7:00pm-7:00am.

Candidates are eligible to receive a competitive sign on bonus. Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also be eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements:

•    At least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience; Charge nurse experience preferred
•    More than 2 years of Registered Nurse Clinical Experience specific to the focus of nursing unit preferred
•    Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
•    Education-BSN or MSN preferred, if Associates Degree then must be within one year of obtaining BSN or MSN.
•    Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days
      Previous leadership courses
•    BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire.
     Certification in the specialty area of nursing practice
•    RN license-licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
