The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics seeks a Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Description
This Cardiologist will work primarily at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center main campus. Clinical activities will include cardiac catheterization lab, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Occasional travel to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities maybe required. Cardiac catheterization and Inpatient care are provided at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, MD. Clinical activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac catheterization lab
- On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology and cardiac catheterization lab
- Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Academic efforts including original research and QI
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree (or equivalent), be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology, and hold or be eligible for a Maryland physician license.
Candidates must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital interventional catheterization is required.

Salary Range
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
