Take a new challenge and join us!</p><p>For more information: <a href="https://www.segulatechnologies.com">https://www.segulatechnologies.com</a></p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Develop a Data Governance Framework: Develop and implement organizational structures, processes, and standards to manage our company's data assets and ensure seamless and secure access to trusted data for all business areas</li><li>Build a Data Governance Community: Establish and maintain a data-centric community of business domain owners and data stewards who enforce data quality measures and develop data use cases that add value to the company</li><li>Collaboration: Work with stakeholders in the company and IT to establish and maintain data standards, including data definitions, business rules, and data lineage; represent and enforce data governance issues in projects and work with strategic vendors</li><li>Provide Tooling: Take responsibility for the established data governance tools and ensure their continuous development and acceptance</li><li>Data Security &amp; Compliance: Establish and monitor processes to manage data security and privacy controls to protect data assets and ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA</li><li>Data Retention Policies: Develop and enforce data retention policies to determine how long data should be retained and how it should be disposed of</li><li>Training: Offer training on best practices in data governance to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in managing data</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification -HTL/FH/(Technical) University</li><li>Several years of experience in data related topics preferably data governance</li><li>Solid grasp of related technical architectures and tools</li><li>Knowledge about (data) governance frameworks like DAMA, DICAM, COBIT or TOGAF</li><li>Understanding of metadata management and master data management principles</li><li>Experience with data quality tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data</li><li>Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data management and governance</li><li>Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar</li><li>Experience in setting up and leading virtual organizations or communities</li><li>Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices</li><li>Fluent proficiency in German (C1) and English</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Additional Information: </strong></p><p>Your minimum salary starts at € 4.270 gross per month (14 x p.a.) based on full-time employment (38,5 hours per week). Depending on your specific professional experience, there is a corresponding willingness to overpay.</p>
