POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager, Youth Development Continuous Quality Improvement & Compliance will collaborate with operations teams to maximize performance by providing purpose, direction, motivation, and accountability. The Project Manager will lead project-based activities to support achieving the Youth Development Strategy goals and objectives by identifying and organizing schedules, scopes, budgets, program implementation plans, and risk mitigation. The project manager analyzes scope, timelines, and progress. The Project Manager makes recommendations for adjustments to ensure that the operations teams adhere to Youth Development Strategy requirements, including compliance with all local, state, and federal program requirements and regulations. The Project Manager will establish and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes. The Project Manager will collaborate with operations teams to prepare reports and other deliverables to support the Association's goals for continuous quality improvement and compliance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Establish and maintain processes to manage scope, applying respective organizational, federation, regulatory, and industry standards, and assessing and managing risks therein across multiple operations.
2. Structure and manage integrated multi-track project performance applications and/or databases, with an eye on overall progress
3. Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including evaluators and researchers related to the operations
4. Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline operational efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
5. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed - escalating issues as necessary based on implementation plans or other project requirements.
6. Lead and manage recordkeeping and outcomes related to CACFP, Licensing, Associate Qualifications, Professional Development Plans, Maryland Excels, and Accreditation.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Hands-on experience with managing or supporting Youth Development programs, technologies and software platforms
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Professional certification - including PMP
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes
• Experience coaching and educating operational teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities, mindsets, and skill sets.
• Demonstrated competency in working with diverse populations to ensure culturally competent service delivery to internal and external stakeholders
