Job Summary:
The purpose of the Warehouse Manager is to provide leadership, manage daily manufacturing operations, and drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Cost Improvements that will add value to the Richland Center facility. Apply advanced knowledge of materials, production planning and supply chain management as well as draw upon substantial experience to identify and/or solve highly complex business problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops strategic plans that supplement and enable senior leadership’s plant and business goals.
- Implements world-class systems and tools in production planning, inventory control, materials management, warehouse management, and material distribution.
- Directs the development and implementation of activities to meet productivity goals, quality, and cost objectives
- Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at high levels, controls capital expenditures for indirect labor.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Develop goals/targets for all direct reports and regularly provide feedback on progress towards those goals.
- Drives policy deployment for area including KPI charts, action plans and countermeasures. Coordinate operations and maintenance support for the warehouse.
- Ensures that production and inventory control practices are consistent with other facilities to the extent possible.
- Leads and conduct physical inventory of all Rockwell inventories on an annual basis.
- Manages cycle count / inventory accuracy programs. Provide analysis
