Job Description
The Manager, Curation and Storefronts, leads Visa University’s curation of learning content, to help our learners get the content they need, when they need it. Reporting to the Director, LX Architect and Strategy, they will help define our curation strategy and approach, and ensure that our learner storefronts provide a great experience for our learners to find and discover the learning they need.
This role is essential in helping our learners navigate our vast library of content from our third-party providers, as well as internally developed content. As well as organizing content, the role will also curate learning pathways to help us turn curated content into great learning experiences.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a learning background, and with familiarity of one or more learning content providers and Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs). They will be skilled in using data and other methods to identify learner needs, and in managing and curating content to meet those needs.
Essential Functions
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of a content and curation strategy roadmap for Visa University, and to increase the adoption and value that our content strategy brings to Visa and our employees.
- Lead content curation efforts for special projects, liaising within VU and with other stakeholders in the business, ensuring a focus is kept on the learner experience.
- Manage our storefronts for learners and ensure that the search and discovery process for learners is optimized on our platforms.
- Support Visa University in upskilling related to content curation and in general user queries related to our LXP.
- Work with our premium content providers to understand what they have available to us, identifying opportunities for us to better use the resources from them, and monitoring usage and return on investment.
- Support curation beyond our existing providers, be able to explore and identify relevant external content that may be useful to support our strategy and learner needs.
- Identify and support opportunities to clean-up our content and develop and operationalize processes and guidance that keeps content up-to-date and ensures the quality we expect for our learners.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, such as learning science, information science or library science.
- At least 3-years' experience with content curation, preferably within learning.
- A passion for learners and great learner experiences.
- Experience of working with learning experience platforms (LXPs) and learning management systems (LMSs).
- Ability to look at the big picture, while keeping a laser focus on the details.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaboration skills.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
