Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus Potential!

How will you make an impact?
The Production Supervisor will drive operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for managing production teams, developing leadership talent, optimizing manufacturing performance, and ensuring successful execution of customer requirements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What will you do?
Lead and manage the manufacturing team with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement
Recruit, interview, hire, develop, coach, and retain Line Managers and other key manufacturing personnel
Establish performance expectations and measurable objectives for managers and teams
Drive employee development, training initiatives, succession planning, and leadership growth
Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
Serve as the primary communication link between customers and manufacturing operations
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and workcells
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis, reporting, and metrics-based decision making
Monitor and improve operational metrics including on-time shipment performance, inventory accuracy, lead time performance, yield performance, and downtime responsiveness
Lead and facilitate JOS meetings and other manufacturing reviews focused on issue resolution and process improvement
Support new product introductions and product transfers.
Analyze production requirements, staffing needs, and capacity requirements to support current and future business demands
Manage production issues, line stoppages, downtime events, and corrective action activities
Prioritize and coordinate departmental workload and project assignments
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and security policies
Drive procedural improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and redundancies
Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive business information
Perform additional duties as assigned
How will you get here?
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a Line Manager or manufacturing leadership role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
Ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent
Proven ability to establish performance metrics, monitor results, and drive accountability
Strong customer-focused mindset with demonstrated success exceeding customer expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience using metrics and reporting tools to drive operational performance
Ability to analyze manufacturing capacity, staffing requirements, and production demands
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and change management principles
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, technical documents, and operational instructions
Strong project planning and execution capabilities
Ability to solve practical problems in complex manufacturing environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
