Job Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps to join to the FX Tribe. We operate across a range of technologies (AWS, Low Latency systems, OpenShift, ELK, Dynatrace) and you will get a chance to try them all. Also, you will get good exposure to the Business side of FX.

You should have excellent technical skills and have knowledge of multiple DevOps tool sets. You should have excellent communication skills and you should have worked with other major financial organisations in the past.

Responsibilities:

• Build out CI and CD pipelines to allow smooth flow of software deployment.
• Design new pipelines
• Create terraform to build new environments in AWS
• Build out POC for private cloud.
• Work and transferring our legacy components to AWS or private cloud
• Build out monitoring solutions using ELK/Grafana/Dynatrace
• Work with the wider DevOps Community on a range of issues around integrating FX into the wider DevOps Culture within our organisation.
• Design and Implement tools for monitoring application health
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Work with other Teams on any issues they have with our toolset and pipelines
• Work with other teams on migrations to Hardware/AWS/Internal PaaS
• Support releases over weekends

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Expertise in a DevOps/Cloud/Agile role
• Good knowledge of AWS
• Good knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Git
• Good knowledge of ELK stack
• Good understanding of low latency systems
• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and understanding of the process.
• Has experience in at least one scripting/Programming Language
• Hands on experience with ansible
• Linux experience
• Excellent communication skills
