Hence working with us means to set the base for state-of-the-art software development within BMW, that meets current and future demands.</p> <p>Software-in-the-Loop-Testing (SiL) is one state-of-the art technology which is an essential part of the software delivery chain. We are looking for a Senior Software Architect for a BMW wide SiL solution that will be established as a product/ service at BMW.</p> <p> </p> <p>What awaits you?</p> <ul> <li>In an agile DevOps team, you will be responsible for the future Software-in-the-loop testing Framework as Senior Software Developer with focus on software architecture and concept.</li> <li>You are leading the definition, development, and the on-going documentation of the software architecture in collaboration with the feature team.</li> <li>During the implementation you are taking care of the software engineering process (using the agile approach) in general and ensure continuous improvement.</li> <li>You support the Product Owner with your architectural and concept expertise so that you are able to be a proxy.</li> <li>Based on our (customer) requirements you are responsible for leading the feature team in detailing the technical concepts and design.</li> <li>Coming from the technical concept you are supporting the feature team in refinement of the requirements for implementation in exchange with the customers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What you should bring along?</p> <ul> <li>University degree in Informatics or a related subject.</li> <li>At least 5 years of experience in software development (C++/ Python) with focus on Software architecture and in the automotive industry.</li> <li>Expert knowledge in Software Architecture and Software Design.</li> <li>Profound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.</li> <li>Fundamental knowledge in simulation and Software-in-the-loop-testing (beneficial in automotive environment).</li> <li>Strong expertise in agile project environments and project management.</li> <li>Expertise in state-of-the-art frameworks and tools including Git, Bazel, Ansible and Zuul is a plus.</li> <li>Technical communication skills &amp; motivation to proactively drive and iterate towards a common solution.</li> <li>Business-fluent German and English.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>You have the talent to quickly grasp and structure complex issues?
