The employee will be required to perform duties across multiple functions with focus on Warehouse & Stores Operations, Receiving, Material Control, Inventory, Property. This individual may be actively engaged in daily operations to meet program schedules within allowable budget. Employee will be required to support inventory operations both locally and at offsite facilities.
Knowledge –
Knowledge of the data systems being used to record and report logistics operations for the various and unique programs throughout RTX Logistics is required. The individual in this position may be required to develop and monitor key performance measurements (metrics and KPIs) and prepare various Logistics reports in support of internal, government, and other program requirements and audits. General knowledge of Government regulations and RTX policies and procedures is required. Must have a working knowledge of Logistics best practices and Core elements.

Required Skills:
Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of between 0-2 years experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Proven ability to be flexible and adaptive to learning new job responsibilities and tasks within the logistics department.
Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate effectively both written & verbally with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers and management in order to deliver resolution in assigned areas.
Analytical skills and versatility/openness to technological advancements and systems updates are a plus.
Ability to execute decision making responsibility with minimal supervision.
Employee must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and may be required to lead a team and/or direct employees if necessary.
Required to meet schedules and ensure project completion within budget and by deadlines/timeframes.
Excellent computer skills are required and consist of proficiency/knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Skilled labor (with PPE and safety limitations) regarding material movement, lifting, manual equipment for pallets/crates (i.e. hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
Adhering to and encouraging job hazard safety requirements and engaging in safety walkabouts and other safety engagements.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

Desired Skills:
Core knowledge of SAP/PRISM software system with the ability to perform research, execute transactions and track material.
Experience with data analysis reporting tools is a plus.
Prior experience in managing or leading logistics operations.
Strong consideration will be given for Logistics experience in a Material Consolidation, Performance Based Logistics, Repair & Return Depot, Government Furnished Material (GFM) and Property, Production or Manufacturing environment.
Inventory & material management experience is a plus.
Ability to demonstrate track record of work accuracy.
Knowledge of Logistics and Materials industry practices and standards.
Ability to develop training materials and conduct training classes.
Knowledge of Import/Export requirements and hazardous material management.
Current Secret Clearance is a plus but also a requirement to obtain within first year.
