<p><strong>SENIOR DIRECTOR, COMMERCIAL LEGAL</strong></p> <p><em>Ivalua is a leading provider of cloud-based procurement solutions globally</em></p> <p><strong>THE OPPORTUNITY</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, and pragmatic Player/Coach attorney to join and help lead our growing EMEA legal team. This individual will work cross-functionally and with a team of lawyers responsible for the negotiation, execution, and all requisite legal support for commercial deals with Ivalua’s customers and partners.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Lead and support SaaS and professional services contract negotiations with European customers on complex commercial and technology matters</li> <li>Structure, draft, negotiate and advise on a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including terms governing Ivalua’s e-procurement solution, implementation services agreements, reseller relationships, professional services and other technology agreements</li> <li>Work closely with internal clients across the business to provide legal support, proactively identify issues, share potential concerns, and craft solutions in supporting the commercialization of our industry-leading products and services</li> <li>Provide legal support for the company’s privacy, data, and security initiatives as they relate to technology and commercial agreements</li> <li>Counsel internal clients with respect to contract compliance and governance matters, serve as a resource to Ivalua’s customer success, customer support, finance and other organizations with respect to ongoing contract and legal matters</li> </ul> <p><strong>YOUR PROFILE</strong></p> <p><strong>Skills and Experience</strong></p> <p>If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 8 – 10 years practicing in an in-house legal department and/or top law firm focusing on enterprise SaaS and software-related negotiations and transactions in Western and Southern Europe, especially in Germany/DACH and France</li> <li>Prior technology experience is required. Other useful areas of experience include security, data/privacy, and intellectual property</li> <li>Works well independently and with a highly collaborative team, process driven, and with proven ability to multi-task and set priorities cross-functionally</li> <li>German fluency and German/French fully bilingual a major plus.
