STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

MONDAY-FRIDAY 5:30AM – 2:00PM

*OVERTIME REQUIRED*

The Seasonal Distribution Center (DC) Associate is responsible for pulling product from daily distribution requests using a scanner/PC. This role will also assist with shipping, light computer work, the use of DC equipment and requires the ability to work well in a team environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pulls product for all daily distributions to customers
  • Prepares and stages orders for shipping by accurately matching packing slips with product
  • Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out to customers
  • Monitors equipment and reports problems to supervisor
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. These may include but are not limited to signing, pricing, OSR, and loss prevention and comply with the Company’s Time & Attendance policy and procedures.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School degree and equivalent work experience
  • 1 year of working in a Distribution environment.
  • Ability to move a maximum of 45 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to effectively operate RF units and scanners.
  • Knowledge working with Warehouse Management System.
  • Strong communication with management and other employees
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to operate distribution center equipment such as pallet jack.
  • Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace within a distribution center environment including walking, bending and lifting.
