Customer Service Global Quality organization drives Amazon towards a defect free customer experience by building technology that rapidly identifies defects, associates them with the information required to resolve the root cause, and prioritizes the multitude of improvement opportunities based on business and customer needs. To help continue expanding our defect elimination program, Global Quality is seeking a passionate, results-oriented Sr. Manager, ,Business Intelligence Engineer. The role will be looking at providing thought leadership for key projects such as developing next gen quality metric, driving key dash-boarding requirements

The role will be managing a large team of talented BIEs and will be looking at providing thought leadership for developing source of truth for key programs -Quality, concessions programs and other key initiatives across CS.

As a Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence Engineer for Amazon Global Quality team, We are looking for high caliber talents to bring in innovation and simplicity to the space. There are no textbook solutions to the problems we are solving and very few attempts have been made to solve at Amazon's scale, which necessitates deeply analytical thinking to solve problems. To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable diving deep and making data driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, and intensely detailed with a strong customer focus and perspective to drive strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams and competing priorities. In this role you will be responsible for helping understand customer feedback, measuring performance of our product and resolutions, assist in developing statistical models. This role has significant impact on the customer experience by directing thier feedback to leaders who can drive action and ensuring that negative experiences are improved.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and Excel
• Experience hiring and leading a high-performance team
• Experience in the data/BI space
• Experience managing analytics, data science or technology teams, with a product or insight focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of product experimentation (A/B testing)
• Knowledge of a scripting language (Python, R, etc.)
• MBA
• Experience managing a data or BI team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
